SystemClock.date gives the text binding a reactive dependency.
The panel anchors to the top edge and uses a calculated left margin for horizontal placement.
It does not use WlrLayershell on a FloatingWindow.
Static checking does not prove final placement, typography, or appearance above other windows.
Those require visual acceptance in an isolated compositor or explicitly approved session.
