# Mission

Build Smith: a fast Rust coding-agent TUI.

Smith provides:

- interactive terminal UI,
- non-interactive eval mode,
- JSON-RPC stdio mode,
- provider-independent agent loop,
- deterministic CBOR sessions and replay,
- wasm component plugin system,
- built-in coding tools exposed through the same plugin API as user tools.

Core bet: Rust owns performance and safety; sandboxed wasm components own user extension, layout, prompts, tools, themes, and keybindings.
