open # open Open a file mentioned during your Pi session in your editor without leaving the conversation. ## Use Set `EDITOR` to an editor available on `PATH`, then enter `/open` inside Pi. If Pi has one recent existing file to offer, it opens that file. If several files were mentioned, Pi shows a picker so you can choose one. Open a specific existing file directly: ```text /open src/index.ts ``` Pi looks at files mentioned by you or Pi, including files Pi edited or wrote in the current session branch. It opens the chosen file in a new right-hand WezTerm pane when Pi is running in WezTerm. In Termux, it starts an editor session through Termux instead. `/open` needs `EDITOR`, WezTerm with `WEZTERM_PANE`, or Termux with its `am` command available. If a requirement is missing, Pi shows a startup warning and leaves your session unchanged. Termux also requires `allow-external-apps = true` in `~/.termux/termux.properties`.
