mockup # Mockup Review visual ideas with Pi before committing to an interface direction. Pi can present one to four interactive HTML mockups, collect your choice, notes, and pinpoint annotations, then use that feedback in the next iteration. [Installation](../../README.md#install) ## Use it in Pi Nothing to invoke. Ask Pi for a visual comparison or an interactive mockup review. Pi loads the [HTML guidance skill](guidance/mockup-html/SKILL.md) before composing mockups. ```text Show me two mobile checkout layouts and let me choose one. ``` When Pi offers the review, choose **Open interactive browser**. Select an option, add notes or annotations where needed, then accept it or ask Pi to iterate. Pi receives your selections and feedback and can present a revised version in the same review. ## Browser behavior The review opens in your browser by default. Set `mockup.openBrowser` to `false` when you prefer to open the URL yourself. `PI_MOCKUP_NO_OPEN=1` also prevents automatic browser opening for that Pi run. The review page is served locally. ## Privacy and control Mockup reviews are temporary visual conversations with Pi. Do not put secrets into mockup content or feedback. Mockup HTML runs in your browser and may make network requests; local serving is not a sandbox. Avoid untrusted HTML and sensitive browser sessions. Mockup itself does not write project files. ## Reference ### Setting names | Setting | Environment | | --- | --- | | `mockup.openBrowser` | `PI_MOCKUP_NO_OPEN` | [Changelog](./CHANGELOG.md).
