# masks demo

1. Three masks are configured: `fast` (small model, thinking off), `deep` (big model, thinking high), and `plan` (deep model, read-only tools, planning instructions).
2. `alt+2` switches to `deep`: the footer flips model and thinking in one keystroke.
3. `/masks plan` equips the planning profile: tools shrink to read-only and the system prompt carries the planning rules; the next prompt yields a plan, not edits.
4. `alt+1` returns to `fast`: model, thinking, tools, and instructions are restored together.
