Define every non-obvious symbol in adjacent prose.
Keep units and explanatory sentences outside math.
Do not add preambles, packages, custom macros, renderer configuration, TikZ, or text-heavy formulas.
Prefer prose when notation does not shorten or clarify the claim.

# TeX
The renderer accepts MathJax TeX input, not complete TeX or LaTeX documents.
## Delimiters
Use single dollars for short inline notation:
```markdown
The retry delay is $d_n = \min(d_{max}, d_0 2^n)$.
```
Use double dollars on separate lines for one displayed relation:
```markdown
$$
P(A \mid B) = \frac{P(B \mid A)P(A)}{P(B)}
$$
```
Escape a literal currency dollar as `\$`.
Do not use `\(...\)` or `\[...\]`; the Markdown parser recognizes dollar delimiters.
## Compact notation
- Subscript and exponent: `x_i`, `x^2`
- Fraction and root: `\frac{a}{b}`, `\sqrt{x}`
- Sum and product: `\sum_{i=1}^{n}`, `\prod_{i=1}^{n}`
- Logic: `\forall`, `\exists`, `\land`, `\lor`, `\neg`, `\Rightarrow`
- Sets: `\in`, `\notin`, `\subseteq`, `\cup`, `\cap`, `\varnothing`
- Short labels inside math: `\text{accepted}`
