ask

ask

When requirements are unclear, give Pi a way to ask you focused questions instead of guessing.

ask lets Pi present up to four multiple-choice questions, one at a time, while it is working.

ask demo: the agent asks a structured question, the human picks an option and adds a note, the answer comes back verbatim

Use it in Pi

Nothing to invoke.

Ask Pi to clarify uncertainty as it works, for example: Ask me about any choices that affect the implementation.

Pi can use its ask_user_question tool to offer choices, accept a free-text answer, and continue with your decision.

Choose an option or choose Other (free text) to write your own answer.

You can add a note in the full-screen Pi interface.

Canceling a question stops that agent turn so Pi waits for new direction.

Interactive Pi sessions can show these questions.

Print and JSON modes cannot ask them, so Pi receives an unavailable result and should proceed only from stated assumptions.

Install through Installation.
