# Jj Review

Use Jujutsu when `jj root` succeeds.
Review is read-only: do not edit source, describe changes, push, move bookmarks, merge, or publish feedback.
Fetching revisions and creating an isolated jj workspace for tests are allowed.

## Procedure

1. Resolve the requested base and head revisions; ask when the comparison is ambiguous.
2. Record the caller's workspace state and exact resolved change and commit IDs.
3. Fetch explicitly requested remote revisions when needed, then pin their commit IDs.
4. Preserve the caller's workspace.
   Inspect pinned revisions directly or create an isolated workspace at the head revision for tests.
5. Produce the exact base-to-head diff and make relevant source, callers, tests, documentation, and configuration available for inspection.
6. Run requested checks in the isolated workspace when they are part of the read-only workflow.
7. Report the pinned revisions, comparison, workspace location, and checks without applying review or approval policy.
8. Stop at the report.
